Terms of use
These terms cover this website and the online billing portal. They are not your lease.

Your rental agreement is the contract
If you rent a unit from us, the signed rental agreement is what governs that rental: your rent, when it is due, access, insurance, what may and may not be stored, and how either of us ends the rental. Nothing on this website and nothing in the billing portal changes it. If anything on this page conflicts with your signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
What is on this site
Rates, unit sizes, and availability are kept as current as we can manage, but they change and they can be wrong. Nothing shown here is a reservation, a quote you can hold us to, or an offer to rent. A unit is yours when we have both signed a rental agreement and you have paid the amount due at signing.
Forms
Sending the contact form, the waitlist form, or the records update form is a request for us to get in touch. It does not reserve a unit, start a rental, or change the terms of one you already have.
Online payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Automatic payments are set up inside the billing portal. When you enroll, you will be asked to authorize the debits there — that authorization, not this page, is what permits them. You can update or remove your saved payment method in the portal at any time.
You can also stop an automatic payment by telling your bank at least three business days before it is scheduled. If your rent amount changes, we will tell you in writing at least ten days before the first debit at the new amount.
One thing worth being clear about, because people assume otherwise:
- Removing your payment method does not end your rental and does not cancel rent you already owe. Ending a rental takes written notice, as set out in your rental agreement.
When a payment counts as made is set by your rental agreement, not by this page.
If a payment is returned or reversed by your bank, the rent is unpaid and any fee in your rental agreement applies.
Keeping your information current
Your rental agreement requires you to keep your address, phone number, and email current with us. Notices we are required to send go to the most recent contact information we have on file, so this matters more than it sounds.
Using this site
Do not attempt to break into, overload, scrape, or interfere with this site or the accounts of others. The site is provided as it is, without warranty. We are not liable for losses arising out of use of the website itself. Nothing in this paragraph limits our obligations to you under your rental agreement or under Minnesota law.
Governing law
Minnesota law governs these terms and any rental agreement with us, including the Minnesota self-service storage statute, Minn. Stat. §§ 514.970 to 514.979.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
